Racial Harmony Day
In celebration of Racial Harmony Day, the children came to school dressed in their ethnic costumes! They took part in a mass assembly where parent volunteers shared more about the beliefs and practices of various ethnicities, to promote cross-cultural interactions and foster deeper understanding of the different ethnic groups. Adding to the fun, the children visited game booths and played traditional games such as Sepak Takraw and Bola Tin. Last but not least, they tasted old school snacks, including Gem Biscuits, Kueh Salat and Thosai!
National Day Celebration
As part of the National Day celebration on 8 Aug 2024, the children came to school dressed in red and/or white. The children joined the Waterway Primary School students for the celebration. They sang and danced along to National Day songs in the school hall. The children also brought along their hand-held Singapore flags to wave along during the celebration. At the end of the celebration, the children received special National Day gift packs!
